I fully admit there are fancier and better-looking websites. In my defense, there are things I am really good at (fixing gas fireplaces & homemade sliders), and things I am not good at (dancing & building websites). Yes, I did get my only bad Google review because someone thought White Castle makes better sliders. With that stated, I fix and service gas operated fireplaces; I am not a chimney sweep. So, unless you are here for some of my amazing homecooked sliders, let’s talk about gas fireplaces.

What to expect from a service call:

I show up to fix your gas fireplace in one visit, not hit you with two service charges and extremely marked up parts. I charge cost plus 10% for parts, and I’ll happily show you how much they cost me.

If I don't fix it, you don't pay. I don’t have a doorbell fee, and I do not collect payment until after the job is done. I took the job believing I can service & repair your fireplace. You should not have to pay me for failing at my job. But I do expect payment upon job completion.

Expect a professional who respects your home, your time, and your business. After I ring the doorbell, if there is a dog, I’ll take a few minutes to meet and greet your pup. Then I will remove my shoes, find your fireplace, put down plenty of drop cloths, and proceed to clean and repair your fireplace. If it needs a part, I will most likely have it in the truck. If I don’t have the part, I will go over the ticket and schedule a follow up. I will only collect payment once I’ve fixed your fireplace. There will not be multiple charges for trip of labor. That would be dishonest.

Pricing:

Standard labor rate is $200.00 for one gas service, and $360.00 for two. Standard labor warranty is 6 months, and annual services are at half-rate with a 12-month warranty. I offer 10% labor discounts for seniors, veterans, widows, first-responders, and all repairs during my off season (April thru September). If you qualify for multiple discounts, you will receive 15% off total. Granted, I have been known to discount for homemade cookies, breads and pies.

Scheduling:

I am not the cable guy. I won’t give you a vague “Tuesday 8 am - 1pm” timeframe; I’ll provide a specific time slot. I will text you when en route, and I tend to run a few minutes early.
